Normalize transformer imports.
...
Importantly, we want our transformer "singular" type aliases to be
consistent. Therefore ban the use of the Maybe transformer (which we can
easily replaces instances of with ExceptT () instead) and the either
transformer (instead, favor use of ExceptT).
